Education:

2005-2009: Recieved Teaching Certificate Secondary Art Education & CTE Certifcation Photo Imaging, Northern Arizona University and Grand Canyon University.

2001: Pima Community College, Tucson, AZ. Continuing my education in sculpture.

1996-1998: University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ. Received a Bachelor of Fine Arts, major area of study is sculpture and minor area of study photography. Graduated Cum Laude with a G.P.A. 3.68.

Work Study:

2006: Organized a ceramic tile mural with 15 students from Vail High School and donated to VHS, Tucson, AZ.

2005: Curator for Vail High School Student Art Show at the Univeristy of Arizona Science and Technology Park , Tucson, AZ.

2004: Organized a ceramic tile mural with 8 students from Vail High School which was donated to VHS, Tucson, AZ.

2003: Organized a ceramic tile mural with 13 students from Vail High School which was donated to The University of Arizona Technology Park, Tucson, AZ.

2002: Organized a ceramic tile mural with 15 students from Vail High School which was donated to the Vail School District business office.

2001:  Organized a summer mural painting project at Vail High School.  

2001 through 2009: Participated in "Vail Pride Day", group display of my art students work which was shown at Pima County Fair Grounds to over 5,000 people.

2000-Present: Art Teacher at Vail High School, Tucson, AZ.

1999: Artist in Residency at Vail High School, AZ. Duties include teaching all required art classes.

1999: www.bethguinterfinearts.com. Created this web site for an Internet gallery display of my artwork.

1999: In-service for new teachers, Vail School District.

1999: In-service at Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art.

1996: Internship, Joseph Gross Gallery and Union Gallery. University of Arizona,  Tucson, AZ. Duties included hanging shows, monitoring gallery space, and other.

1993-2001:: Jones Photo, Tucson, AZ. Working to experience how a photo business is run and operated. Duties include customer service, photo printing, and photo restoration.
